Connect IDX Plugin to MyHome

The theme gives IDX a home on your pages. Your IDX Broker account and IDX Plugin do the rest, and nothing needs syncing.

In short
  • IDX Broker holds the MLS data and the leads.
  • IDX Plugin turns it into widgets, templates and styling.
  • MyHome gives those elements a home on your pages.
  • When the MLS changes, the site updates itself.

The chain, in one minute

The MyHome IDX Theme itself does not talk to your MLS. The chain is simple: your IDX Broker account holds the MLS data and the leads, IDX Plugin turns it into widgets, templates and styling, and MyHome gives those elements a home on your pages. Because nothing is copied into WordPress, there is nothing to import, refresh or maintain.

Connect your account

The connection is your IDX Broker API key, pasted once into your free IDX Plugin account, exactly as shown in Getting Started. A few clicks later all search and listings on the site run on your IDX Broker account, and the ready widgets appear in your dashboard, filled with your own MLS data.

Where each piece lives

  • Search forms and listing widgets sit inside your Elementor pages, wherever you place them.
  • Search results, listing details and the other IDX pages run on our IDX Broker templates.
  • Colors, fonts and spacing come from Global Styles, one panel for the whole integration.
  • Leads from forms and favorites land in your IDX Broker account.

Your work is portable
The widgets are not tied to the theme. If you ever redesign or move platforms, your IDX setup, structure and styling move with you.
